Nowadays, the technology present in classrooms has become increasing. Technology can bring numerous benefits to the classroom, but it can also present challenges for both teachers and students. One of the most significant benefits of technology in the classroom is the ability to enhance student engagement and learning. By incorporating interactive digital tools, teachers can create dynamic and engaging lessons that cater to various learning styles. Additionally, technology can provide access to a wealth of information, allowing students to conduct research, explore new concepts, and deepen their understanding of the materials.  However, these benefits can become challenges. Journal 2: So, What’s Next?

  As technologies are changing rapidly, it is essential for teachers and educators to adapt their teaching practices to keep up with these changes. The Educause New Horizons Report 2020 provides valuable insights into the emerging technologies and trends that will shape higher education in the next decade. In the next two years, I anticipate there will be a lot of changes in teaching and learning. The incorporation of more virtual and augmented reality technologies may appear somewhere in classes. These technologies have the potential to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that can enhance student understanding. Students who study English as a second language will have more chances to access materials and communicate more authentically. Additionally, as online learning continues to grow in popularity, I plan to explore new tools and platforms to promote collaboration and communication among my students.
